This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit tricitiesailab.com or contact us about our services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Contact forms: name, company, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, and your message. The AI Readiness form asks for your name, business, email or phone, and an optional message.
Start Here quiz: your type of business, the work that takes the most time, the tools you use, your concerns about AI, what you're hoping to get out of it, and your name, email address, and phone number.
Website Rescue form: your website address, name, email address, phone number, roughly how many pages the site has, whether you know where the domain is registered, and what is broken or frustrating about the site.
Calls and texts: if you call or text our listed number, we receive your phone number and whatever you tell us or send, and we use it only to reply.
Email correspondence: any information you include when emailing us directly.

Information Collected Automatically

Usage data: pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, and browser/device type via standard server logs.
Cloudflare Turnstile: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. To decide whether a submission is automated, Cloudflare processes signals from your browser and device. It is listed in the cookie preference tool as required, because the forms can't be sent without it.
Cloudflare Web Analytics: a cookieless page counter. It gives us aggregate counts of page views and sets no cookies, and it does not build a profile of you as a visitor. Because it sets no cookies, it runs without the cookie preference tool.

To send project proposals, quotes, or follow-up communications you've requested
To improve our website and understand how visitors use it
To protect against spam, fraud, and abuse via Cloudflare Turnstile

When you send a form, your message is emailed to us through Resend, an email delivery service. Separately, the site keeps a count of form submissions that records only the time, which form was used, the page it was on, and the referring website. That count contains no names, email addresses, phone numbers, or messages.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Email Communications

If you contact us, we may follow up by email or phone. You can opt out of any non-essential communication at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or contacting us directly.

4. Data Retention

We retain contact and inquiry data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose it was collected for, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your information at any time.

5. Third-Party Services

Our site uses the following third-party services that may process data on your behalf:

Google Analytics (GA4): helps us understand which pages get used and how visitors find the site. The Google Analytics script loads on every page. Until you grant consent through the cookie preferences tool described below, it sets no cookies and sends Google only cookieless page counts (Google Privacy Policy)
Microsoft Clarity: helps us understand how visitors use the site through session recordings and heatmaps, so we can find and fix confusing pages. Clarity only runs after you grant consent through the cookie preferences tool described below (Microsoft Privacy Statement)
Cloudflare: CDN and security, including Turnstile and Web Analytics described above (Privacy Policy)
Resend: delivers form submissions to our inbox by email (Privacy Policy)
Beehiiv: newsletter signups are handled by Beehiiv under Beehiiv's own privacy policy (Privacy Policy)
Google Calendar: if you book a Fit Check through our scheduling link, Google processes the appointment details you enter (Privacy Policy)

We do not use behavioral advertising networks, sell data to third parties, or run ad-retargeting pixels. See our data handling page for how we approach client project information specifically, which is a separate question from this website's own data collection.

6. Cookies

Our site uses a cookie preference tool (Klaro) that blocks non-essential cookies by default. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity only set cookies and begin collecting usage data after you actively grant consent through that tool. Until then, Clarity is not loaded, and Google Analytics sends only the cookieless page counts described above. When you make a choice in that tool, the site records the choice, the page, the time, and your IP address, as a record of your consent. You can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy Preferences" link in the site footer. Our forms may also set a session-based functional cookie required for Cloudflare Turnstile to operate, which is not used for tracking across other websites.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13.

8. Your Rights

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you share with us. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
